We’re all about supporting independent artists, designers, and makers from across the UK. Every item in our machine is carefully chosen to showcase creativity, craftsmanship, and a whole lot of personality—whether it’s a beautifully illustrated notecard, a quirky tote bag, or a DIY paper craft kit.
Here are the makers and products we stock in our machine, Vendy Wendy, at Signature Brew Haggerston.
Cressida’s signature bold patterns and intricate designs make her work instantly recognizable. While she’s best known for her textile creations, we’re lucky enough to stock her stunning illustrated stationery, bringing her artistry to a perfectly vending-machine-sized scale. Based in Hackney, Cressida handcrafts each design in her studio and even runs occasional workshops—so if you love her work, you can learn straight from the master herself!
We’ve been fans of Dick Vincent for years (his artwork even decorates the Offbeat Vending office!), so it only made sense to bring his work to Vendy Wendy. His “Hikes & Pints” wooden pins—two of our favorite things—are made from maple veneer and feature his distinctive hand-drawn lettering. With double pins for extra security, they’ll stay put even on the yompiest of yomps up nearby hills. If you’re ever near Macclesfield, stop by his brick-and-mortar store, Dick’s General Store!
As seen in the Tate Shop! Kate Rowland’s jewellery was at the top of our list when we stocked the machine—it’s the perfect blend of fun, colorful, and beautifully crafted. Each paint palette necklace is laser-cut from responsibly sourced poplar plywood and features British-made jewellery findings. Every piece is hand-painted, so no two are exactly the same. A wearable mini masterpiece!
Despite being cat owners ourselves (don’t tell the dogs), we’re obsessed with Scout’s Honour merit badges. Designed for canine adventurers, these embroidered, iron-on patches are perfect for adding personality to a bandana, blanket, or bed. We’ve stocked loads of different designs, so there’s something for every pup. And yes, we’re very tempted to get a “Best Buddy” patch for our own Jolly Roger the Boat Cat…
Musician, artist, and filmmaker Charlotte Pugh is known for her intricately detailed, trippy line art, and we’re thrilled to stock her work in the form of handmade, adjustable polymer clay rings—created exclusively for Offbeat Vending. Each one is crafted by hand and comes on a beautifully hand-painted backing card, featuring Charlotte’s signature bold, intricate style.
Handmade by husband-and-wife duo Andrew and Michele in East London, these eco-friendly beeswax wraps by Honey Bee Good combine sustainability with classic William Morris prints. Every wrap is hand-cut and coated in their studio, which runs on 100% green electricity. They use biodegradable packaging and locally sourced materials, and their commitment to sustainability even earned them the title of Best Eco-Friendly Beeswax Food Wrap Manufacturer in the UK!
If you love vibrant, hand-printed designs, you’ll love YUK FUN. Their small-batch tote bags feature their signature bold, playful animal illustrations. Our top picks? The bright pink longboard-skating dog shouting “WHEEEEE” and the yellow fluffy cat, but honestly, they’re all amazing. Each one is hand-screen-printed in the UK, bringing a big splash of joy to your everyday errands.
Happy Frank (aka the wonderful Melissa) creates insanely detailed 3D paper crafts, and we’re beyond excited to have them in Vendy Wendy. Now based just across the water in Amsterdam, she designed these DIY kits while still in the UK—packaged specifically to fit in a vending machine! Each kit contains pre-cut paper pieces and step-by-step instructions so you can build your own miniature juice box. It’s the perfect little gift—or a fun challenge to attempt mid-gig, depending on your level of inebriation…
Leeds-based Studio Wald is a husband-and-wife duo dedicated to creating beautifully designed, UK-made products—with most of their production happening right in Yorkshire.
We’re big fans of their pocket flower press, the perfect companion for plant lovers and nature explorers. Small enough to slip into your back pocket, it’s ideal for collecting and preserving botanical treasures on country walks. It might not be flower season just yet, but spring is just around the corner—so get ready to press some petals!
We’re constantly on the lookout for amazing independent makers to stock in Vendy Wendy. If that’s you, drop us line!
